Headwaters Beef Cooperative
We are made up of dedicated farmers and ranchers who share a passion for producing nutrient-rich, pasture raised beef without unnecessary additives or artificial growth hormones. The result? Wholesome, flavorful beef that is as good for the land as it is for your family.
Our cooperative was founded with a simple yet powerful mission:
support well-managed grasslands that protect and restore our valuable natural resources
ensure healthy livestock and farm profitability
provide high-quality eating experience to consumers who care about where their food comes from
We believe that responsible farming plays a crucial role in maintaining healthy ecosystems. Co-op members advance this belief through:
promoting a culture of shared learning
encouraging constant improvement of grazing management, stockmanship, and soil health
common sense protocols on animal welfare, land stewardship
Headwaters Beef Cooperative was founded in the heart of ranch and lakes country. Our farm and ranch members are from in and around the Pine River Watershed, determined to be one of the most important watersheds in the nation in terms of providing clean water to the most people.
